No, the special lid mechanism has an unusually deep profile and a clever hermetic sealing system that ensures no leaks in your bag on the way to work. Just to be 100% sure though, IGGI Bowl comes with a tight fitting neoprene-style carry case that locks your bowl down.
Importantly though, don't forget the sauce is actually kept completely separate from the bowl ingredients in the sauce shaker that actually fits snuggly underneath the bowl. So that means your salad or meal remains dry until you get to work and pour on the sauce. No more soggy salads!
We use a custom material known as 'WPC' (Wood plastic-composite) that replaces plastic and is injected similar to most plastic mould injection processes. WPC is actually 100% compostable and eco-friendly.
The bowl is a standard 20cm diameter and 8.5cm height. The bowl does however have a 'false bottom' that effectively removes 33% of the available space in the bowl. This feature is a deliberate mechanism that 'fools the eye' into believing there is more food than there actually is.
